Senator Fair has scheduled four public hearings of the Joint Citizens and Legislative Committee on Children. Please save the dates and plan to attend. If you cannot attend, please offer comments by email to or via mail to the Committee on Children, 1600 Hampton St., Ste. 502, Columbia, SC 29208. If you plan to testify in person, you may sign up at the hearing. Comments will be heard on a first come, first serve basis. The time allotted for each speaker is 5 minutes, however, additional testimony is welcomed via mail or online.

The purpose of these public hearings is for the public to communicate important issues regarding children and make recommendations to leaders in the state. Historically, testimony at these hearings has offered significant contributions to the development of the Committee's legislative agenda.
